In 2024 the Alliance for Product Quality in Africa started its operations in Togo along two main objectives:
- Strengthen international trade based on international standards
We support SMEs achieving compliance with international standards, such as EU Organic and Fair Trade, to facilitate intra-African and international trade.
- Support SME’s regional exports by increasing product quality through AfPQ Q-Boost, a newly developed standardized program on the introduction of quality management systems.
The new AfPQ Q-Boost Program will be implemented in Togo in collaboration with partner organizations. Q-Boost is a program supporting export ready SMEs in the introduction of a quality management system that works for the company and will increase the product quality enabling the companies to take advantage of regional export opportunities.
